Decentralised ventilation systems

Large decentralised ventilation units are designed for the decentralised ventilation of spaces such as training rooms, classrooms, plenary halls, or similar environments. In addition to reducing ventilation heat losses, heat recovery provides preheated supply air. As a result, a supply air reheating coil purely for comfort purposes is generally not required. Some units also offer humidity recovery via membrane heat exchangers or rotary heat exchangers with sorption coating.
