Sliding doors

Sliding doors and windows enable generous connections between interior and exterior spaces, thereby significantly enhancing spatial quality and flexibility of use. However, due to the fact that the fixed and operable elements run on different planes, specific design challenges arise, which can lead to increased heat losses compared to tilt-and-turn systems. When using sliding systems, it is therefore essential to rely on certified components in order to ensure sufficiently high surface temperatures, particularly in the area of the interlock profile (central offset between planes), thereby preventing condensation.
