Facade anchors
Curtain wall and ventilated facades allow for a high degree of design freedom. Systems made from aluminium, ACM or fibre cement panels to marble and stone façades are possible. Energy-efficient implementation requires thermal decoupling of façade anchors, as well as of the support and rail systems used to accommodate cladding. In addition to key thermal characteristic values, the Passive House Institute provides load class-dependent values to support designers in the calculation and assessment of thermal bridges.
