Heat pumps

group icon
Heat pumps harness renewable thermal energy from ambient sources such as outside air, the ground, or exhaust air and convert it into usable heat for buildings. By operating on the principle of thermodynamic heat transfer, they achieve high efficiency with comparatively low (electric) energy input, making them a key technology for sustainable heating, cooling and domestic hot water. The category of heat pumps and combi units includes both single-unit and split systems for different installation scenarios and building types. A wide range of variants and hybrid configurations is also available. These include integrated solutions combining heat pumps with mechanical ventilation systems, as well as compact units providing space heating, domestic hot water, controlled ventilation and, where available, space cooling. They are particularly suited to modern, energy-efficient buildings with a high level of system integration.
