Doors

Doors are a key element of the building envelope, whether fully opaque, fully transparent or combined, and whether designed as single doors or multi-part systems. They must ensure high levels of thermal insulation, airtightness and durability, even under intensive use. Thermally optimised frames, high-performance door panels and appropriate glazing minimise heat losses and thermal bridges, particularly in critical areas such as junctions and thresholds. A well-designed system ensures high interior surface temperatures, prevents condensation and meets the demanding criteria for Passive House certification.
