Beschreibung
Sapphire’s patent-pending serrated anchor is designed to overcome the unique challenges of anchoring balconies into Hollow core and wide slab precast frames, as well as a cost-efficient way to anchor into RC slabs. The thin plate at the top of the anchor fits narrow zones within structural concrete toppings without the need to scarify the hollow core on site, while the sawtooth perforations provide equivalent pull-out and uplift resistance compared to other anchors. The system uses fewer parts than conventional anchors, requiring fewer QA stages and with less risk of tampering on site. The serrated anchor is designed for use with Sapphire’s Remote Locker Device (RLD) connection, ensuring balcony arms do not need to be fitted on site. Available in both standard and Passivhaus-certified variations, the serrated anchor provides a robust and efficient load-transfer solution.
