Beschreibung
The AxiAL+ Support System by Ash & Lacy is a stainless steel rainscreen substructure for mechanically fixed cladding, certified by the Passive House Institute for cool, temperate climates. The system uses high-grade stainless steel with low thermal conductivity, avoiding the need for thermal isolation pads resulting in a resilient, polymer-free solution with zero combustible content. Its mass-minimised design reduces material volume, lowering thermal conductivity, embodied carbon, and overall cost. Low thermal bridges//enable U-values below 0.15 W/m²K, helping to meet stringent energy efficiency criteria while maintaining internal surface temperatures above 17 °C. The design can reduce insulation thickness by up to 40% and accommodates various cladding types and load classes with high structural capacity. All components are non-combustible (A1, EN13501-1) and suitable for new build or retrofit. Manufactured in the UK with reduced material use and full recyclability, AxiAL+ provides a durable façade anchor solution for reducing thermal bridging in rear-ventilated façades.
