Description
Aluminium frame, thermally separated with Technoform Low Lambda (0,21 W/(mK)) and insulated with pre-cut polyurethane foam sections (0,027 W/(mK)). Pane thickness 30 mm (6/18/6 mm), rebate depth 15 mm. Spacer: TGI-Spacer SP16 with butyl secondary seal. The window is designated as a pilot certification for the following reason: India is generally assigned as climate zone 7, 'very hot', and thereby requires highly insulated window frames with triple glazing. Depending on the local climate, however, it may be possible to achieve the Passive House standard using narrower frames and double glazing, applicable to the 'hot' climate zone 6. Particular attention should be paid to the need for external shading and solar control glazing. The exact requirements must always been confirmed by the PHPP on a case-by-case basis.
