Ventilation units with a maximum airflow rate above 600 m³/h are typically used as central units for the continuous ventilation of large residential buildings, such as apartment buildings, or non-residential buildings, including offices or schools. Highly efficient heat recovery ensures preheated supply air during winter and reduces ventilation heat losses. Some units also offer the option of humidity recovery. Depending on the maximum airflow range, the units provide different static pressures to overcome pressure losses within the duct network. Larger units are generally designed to supply more complex duct systems.
